Job Overview

Mental Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Mental Health Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The salary range for this position is $37-$38 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide injections, medication support, diagnostic reviews, and crisis intervention services.
  • Vitals, health and wellness screenings/assessments, wellness coaching and education.
  • Accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
  • Dispense and account for prescribed medication, assist psychiatrist in administering and evaluating prescribed medication and arrange lab work according to protocol.

Requirements

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse in California required.
  • Valid CA Driver's License and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
  • Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
  • Cultural competency understanding required. Bilingual preferred.
