About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to laboratory equipment, test outcomes, specimens, and workflow.
- Engage in team projects or specialized assignments as needed.
- Provide instruction to Clinical Laboratory Science students and Pathology residents, and train new staff members.
- Conduct quality control measures and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform standard and specialized testing procedures, including chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological analyses.
- Prepare specimens and reagents as necessary for testing.
- Communicate test results to healthcare professionals and consult on findings.
- Review and verify test results for accuracy and prompt correction of discrepancies.
Education: A Bachelor of Science degree is required. Candidates must be eligible to sit for the MT exam within 12 months of hire.
Licensure/Certification: Certification as MLS/MT (ASCP), MT (NCA), or MT (AMT) must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
