Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Advocate to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Patient Advocate, you will provide personal support services and crisis intervention to clients, serving as a liaison between clients and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess legitimacy of complaints and determine if a violation or problem exists.
  • Perform legal support duties, coordination, and outreach relevant to victims.
  • Provide accurate and thorough information regarding available resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for crime victims.
  • Receive, document, and investigate complaints from clients, patients, their families, or representatives regarding quality of services and violations of individual rights.
  • Review consumers/clients financial status and living situation to make assessments of needs.
  • Screen customer data and make initial determination of potential eligibility for programs.
