Job Summary:

The RN Team Lead - Progressive Care Overflow will work collaboratively with our team to provide direct guidance and supervision of patient care. This role will be responsible for facilitating ongoing assessment and determination of nursing care needs, as well as supervising, teaching, and delegating to other personnel as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with LPNs to provide direct guidance and supervision of patient care
  • Facilitate ongoing assessment and determination of nursing care needs
  • Supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel as appropriate
  • Provide critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse licensure with a multistate compact status
  • American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date
  • Arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
