Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team at Renewal Health Group. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential treatment center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with client intakes and discharges, orienting new clients to the facility and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Conduct regular room checks, searches, and personal searches to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Participate in scheduled rounds to monitor client well-being and provide support as needed.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Ensure clients attend all scheduled groups and therapy sessions, and enforce company policies regarding phone usage.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and maintaining prescribed medication.
  • Provide effective crisis intervention and teach independent living skills to clients.
  • Prepare and facilitate groups as assigned, and manage program activities to ensure clients feel safe and secure.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including charts, program documentation, and incident reports.
Requirements
  • Current registration with CCAPP or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School graduate or possess a GED, with coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work a plus.
  • Knowledge of medications and interventions, and ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal automobile insurance.
