Clinical Nurse Leader for Post-Anesthesia Care

SSM Health, a leading healthcare organization, seeks an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Leader to join its team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a key member of the nursing staff, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and guidance to the PACU team.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and mentoring others. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities and RequirementsThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
- Leading and guiding the PACU team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Developing and implementing patient education plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
In order to be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a post-anesthesia care unit or similar setting
- Current RN licensure in Illinois or Missouri
- BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification preferred
As a valued member of the SSM Health team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
