Nurses with experience in Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care are encouraged to apply.

  • Shifts: Day shift, night shift, and mid shift
  • Job types: Full time, part time, and per diem
Qualifications:
  • An Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing is required
  • An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license is necessary
  • 1 year of experience in a PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting is preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association are required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for seamless patient transition from the operating room to discharge home
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

The estimated salary for this position is $$75,000 - $150,000 per year.
