Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Cardiac Intensive Care Unit team at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. As a Staff Nurse in this critical care environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assume leadership roles and mentor junior staff members to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans
Requirements
  • Associate degree in nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited American Heart Association (AHA) instructor
  • Two or more years of RN experience in a critical care environment preferred
