We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a cardiovascular nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Independently manage patient care, making decisions based on sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac care and participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire date into position.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical-surgical nursing or related area and one (1) year experience involving the treatment of cardiac or critical care patients.
  • Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
