Job Description

At Southern Veterinary Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our animal hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their needs and wishes are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of examination findings and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to established protocols.
  • Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attending continuing education meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
