Bristol-Myers Squibb is seeking a highly skilled Site Procurement Lead to join our team at our multi-product Cell-Therapy manufacturing facility in Bothell, WA.

About the Role

This is a critical position that will lead a team responsible for sourcing efforts for direct bio process materials, indirect materials, capital equipment, and related services. The successful candidate will maintain strong alignment with our Cell-Therapy manufacturing network strategy and initiatives, support the business with close partnership with the site management team, and engage closely with GPS sites within the network to ensure best value for local site and BMS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain continuity of current direct material supply for manufacturing operations (cGMP) at the manufacturing facility by managing suppliers and engaging directly with site stakeholders as well as global support teams.
  • Achieve and exceed metrics including value beyond savings, purchase price variance (PPV), receipt to promise (RTP), inventory, and invoicing compliance.
  • Lead site and region-based efforts for standardization of raw materials and consumables and drive delivery of cost savings including alternate/secondary sourcing of materials for cost savings/avoidance.
  • Lead supplier relationship management programs as requested and aligned with category leads.
  • Lead regional sub-category strategy development and execution in conjunction with relevant category lead as well as capital investment strategies and ensure compliance/governance on all major capital projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum education of a B.S./B.A. in science, engineering, or business.
  • Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of multi-disciplined procurement experience.
  • Preferred experience in a technical, operational, or business role within relevant industry and role expectations.
  • Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP system is preferred.

Bristol-Myers Squibb offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting salary range of $149,000 - $188,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
