Certified Phlebotomy Specialist

Catalyst Health Group: Clinical Careers is seeking a skilled Certified Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for performing various patient care duties and laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate lab orders before procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and service excellence.
- Monitor patients for safety and prevent fainting.
- Collect blood samples efficiently and accurately.
- Educate patients and families about procedures.
- Label samples with unique identifiers and process according to lab procedures.
- Follow universal precautions to protect patients and staff.
- Stock procedure rooms with supplies.
- Manage CLIA Waived Point of Care Testing.
- Clean and maintain lab equipment according to OSHA and CLIA guidelines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification required.
- Laboratory experience and knowledge of CLIA Waiver requirements preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- 3+ years' experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
