Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Read blueprints, clean, sand, and patch surfaces to ensure they are ready for painting and/or refinishing.
  • Painting and Coatings Application: Operate painting tools and equipment, including sprayers, sanders, and rollers, to apply finishes to various surfaces.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and painting equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Supply Management: Procure equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of required items.
  • Job Site Management: Coordinate with project managers and field superintendents to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other trades as needed to support completion of work activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must have own tools for the chosen trade and knowledge of spray pumps, power washers, HVLP, and conventional equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
  • Work Environment: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently exposed to high, precarious places and extreme cold. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
