Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bunkie HomeCare, a part of LHC Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment.

The ideal candidate will have current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Louisiana, current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. You will work closely with the physician to develop a therapy plan of care and provide service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient functional status and occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient well-being
• Provide service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws
• Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
