Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Service Technician to join our team at Snelling Staffing El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, security systems, and communication networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project crews to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer quality and safety standards
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with the installation manager to ensure productivity and job completion
  • Complete all internal paperwork and project updates in a timely manner
  • Prepare deliverable documentation, including red-lined as-built drawings and cable charts
  • Serve as the main on-site customer contact for questions and concerns
  • Participate in facility, safety, coordination, and construction meetings as required
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field
  • Proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations
  • Ability to work at heights, off of a ladder, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ES3J or ES7J certification preferred
  • BICSI Installer Level II Copper or Fiber preferred
  • BICSI TE-350 preferred
Working Conditions

The standard work environment for this position is an indoor business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The physical demands described here represent those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is expected to travel as needed for projects including overnight stays. When possible, reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
