Sales Development Representative

Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative at Core & Main, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales. You will utilize your knowledge of core customers and the Core & Main product line to drive revenue growth and achieve yearly sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to build relationships and identify sales opportunities
  • Forecast and prospect for new business, including customers, markets, and additional service opportunities
  • Maintain existing customer partnerships and develop new ones through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Share market and competitor information with the organization to inform sales strategies
  • Partner with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve customer service issues and identify product needs
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in inside or outside sales, preferably in industrial distribution or wholesale
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
