Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional and courteous support to clients and service partners.
  • Collaborate with team members and external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, aiming for first-time resolution of issues.
  • Provide timely updates regarding findings, necessary follow-up work, or parts required for various service calls, emphasizing repair urgency and potential downtime.
  • Assist in inspecting incoming products, programming controllers, testing and repairing equipment, and aiding in root cause analysis of returned items.

General Duties Include:

  • Support the US-based service team with technical, quality, or engineering inquiries.
  • Offer after-hours technical support via a hotline on a rotating schedule.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for warranty claims linked to specific work orders or serial numbers.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and service visits for new equipment startups and escalated service issues.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of service events, including detailed trip reports for site visits.
  • Review and upload all relevant checklists to our Service Database.
  • Represent KKT Chillers professionally during customer interactions.
  • Comply with ISO standards and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
  • Strong technical skills, including:
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC-R systems.
    • Knowledge of electrical equipment diagnostics and industrial controls.
    • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
    • Experience with closed-loop, pressurized fluid systems.
    • Background in working with chillers or similar industrial equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and QuickBooks.
  • Team-oriented yet capable of independent work.
  • Minimum of a 2-year degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience in the chiller sector.
  • HVAC-R certification and EPA Universal Certification are required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Office work is approximately 85%, with 15% travel involved.
