Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Clinical Laboratory Assistant to support our team at Azenta Life Sciences. As a vital member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and managing clinical specimens, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with laboratory professionals to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing clinical specimens in accordance with established protocols
  • Properly labeling and storing specimens at appropriate temperatures
  • Monitoring and reporting any deviations or issues related to specimen handling or storage
  • Assisting laboratory scientists with routine tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous laboratory experience preferred
  • Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulations necessary
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
