Riverbend Veterinary Clinic is a well-established animal care facility in Plainfield, NH. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Admission: Taking medical histories, reviewing health reminders, and preparing vaccines for animals.
  • Patient Restraint: Assisting with examinations and procedures, trimming nails, drawing blood, and basic grooming.
  • Patient Discharge: Reviewing patient care at home and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Communication: Responding to phone calls, interacting with clients, and addressing their concerns.
  • Medication Management: Dispensing, labeling, and reviewing medications for accuracy.
  • Laboratory Procedures: Running blood machines, preparing slides, performing urinalysis, and fecal samples.
  • Surgical Support: Preparing the surgery suite, processing instruments, monitoring anesthesia, and patient recovery.
  • X-Ray Assistance: Positioning patients for radiographs, using X-ray equipment correctly.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
