Front Desk Agent Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth stay for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, registering them and issuing room keys as needed.
  • Provide information on hotel services and room locations, answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue and accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes, communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management as needed.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, making appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and basic knowledge of computers and software, including the ability to use email, word processing, and hotel management systems.
