About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen from units and dispose of them properly.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
