Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing your critical thinking skills and expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in emergency nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
