Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Production Lead, the Production Operator - Line 9 Ishida Op is responsible for ensuring that machines are working at full capacity while producing high-quality products. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas, performing periodic checks on output, and visually inspecting production runs to document results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Perform line set up, start up, operations, closing, and changeover of equipment to ensure optimal production.
  • Quality Control: Ensure product quality meets standards throughout the process by performing checks and inspections, and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately complete and maintain all production records, including documentation of quality control checks and any issues encountered.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
  • Problem Reporting: Report any problems or malfunctions to the department lead in a timely manner.
  • Adaptability: Effectively adapt to changes in production schedules, processes, or procedures as directed by the lead.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing operator experience.
  • Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilize basic math skills, and audit paperwork. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
  • Availability: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
