Job Summary

The Firearms Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in firearms and related accessories. This role requires a strong understanding of firearms regulations, safety practices, and product features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance on firearms and related products.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to firearms sales and transfers.
  • Process Transactions: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling payments and necessary documentation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated on current firearm trends, models, and industry news to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional education or training in firearms safety preferred.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in firearms sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Firearms Regulations: A strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding firearms sales and transfers is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for Prolonged Periods: Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Lifting and Pushing: Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
