Job Description

As a Leasing Document Administrator at Merrimak Capital, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing contracts for asset-based lending and equipment financing lease documentation. You will coordinate with our partners throughout the agreement timeline to ensure timely and accurate execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review standard contractual lease documents between Merrimak and customers.
  • Prepare, review, and send purchase orders to vendors for customers' equipment orders and delivery.
  • Manage each equipment order's timeline, following up with vendors for production and delivery timing.
  • Clearly manage customer delivery expectations through frequent communications.
  • Ensure all applicable terms and conditions are stated accurately in documents, aligned with what is provided by the Pricing department.
  • Manage records/files of current leases, with the ability to dive into previous documentation to answer questions.
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to customers' inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide clear and concise communication between Merrimak's teams.
  • Work with the End of Lease department to ensure they are working with accurate information.
  • Review and interact with our online platform, ensuring documentation data is consistent.

Requirements:

  • Experience creating contract documents for equipment leasing agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or combined experience with education.
  • Adherence to laws and best practices regarding dealings with financial services customers and data.
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in learning and utilizing multiple complex technical applications at the same time.
  • Strong Excel skills.
