Key responsibilities include:

* Performing routine and preventative maintenance bus repairs
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical breakdowns
* Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
* Collaborating with other diesel mechanics on operational repairs
* Participating in maintenance training programs required for the job and career development

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain within six months of employment, a minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an automotive or diesel technician, and computer diagnostic skills. You will also need to possess your own set of tools to perform maintenance tasks and be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including outdoors.
