About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of packaging machinery, ensuring the continuous flow of product to the packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain shift documentation, including Metal Detector and Batch Order Verifications
  • Read and interpret production schedules in MicroStrategy
  • Perform nitrogen testing and maintain an adequate supply of roll stock
  • Set up and write new programs for bag makers, and create and modify code dates
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including scale repairs and adjustments
  • Operate packaging equipment, including case sealers and robot cells, and monitor product appearance and weight control
  • Identify and resolve packaged product quality issues, and properly account for product run off
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, and report any maintenance problems to the appropriate technician or supervisor
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance, and work in a fast-paced environment
