Job Summary
Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled OB Hospitalist Physician to join our team at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24-hour care to patients in the postpartum and antepartum units, as well as covering urgent GYN cases from the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Round and discharge patients on the postpartum and antepartum units
- Provide coverage to the Ob-Gyn group, CNMs, and FMwOB (triage, monitoring labor, delivery)
- Care for unassigned patients
- Cover urgent GYN cases from the ED
- Collaborate with Neonatologists, Advanced NNPs, and Anesthesia staff in the Level III NICU
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician with ability to be licensed and credentialed in Nebraska
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
