Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

ProMedica is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Farmington.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA, you will assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, and socialization. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide food service and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with socialization and activities, including reading, watching TV, and engaging in conversations
  • Document resident care and services provided
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic reading and writing skills and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations and successful completion of required training
