The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA is a key leadership position at Johnson City Medical Center, responsible for overseeing the 24-hour operations of designated clinical departments. This role requires a professional nurse with advanced knowledge of nursing and management systems, as well as strong leadership and business acumen skills.
Key Responsibilities- Define and achieve standards for quality patient care
- Maintain regulatory requirements and develop, manage, and evaluate area-based work team performance
- Participate in development and maintenance of policy and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Apply advanced knowledge of nursing and management systems in patient care, personnel development, fiscal and unit operations, performance improvement, and program development
- Promote innovation and excellence in clinical, service, and team performance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing program required
- Master's degree in either Business Administration or Nursing required
- Minimum three years of clinical licensed nursing experience preferred
- At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Valid and active RN licensure from appropriate state
- AHA BLS required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP required dependent upon area
- Shift: Day
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Rotating
- Travel Required: No Travel
