Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and management for the dialysis program, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and program efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Manage and develop staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in budget development and financial management, ensuring the program operates within specified targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain survey readiness.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a current license to practice nursing in Iowa or ability to obtain an Iowa license by date of hire.
- Considerable experience in leadership/management roles, including prior experience working with regulatory bodies and survey readiness.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in clinical nursing, with an additional 6 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Considerable experience working with the care of dialysis patients, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
- Experience working in an academic medical center.
- Professional certification in a relevant nursing or clinical area.
