To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide course.
  • At least six months of experience as a Home Health Aide (in homes or facilities).
  • Listed in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
  • A minimum score of 80% on the Home Health Aide Test.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and access to adequate transportation.
