At Westside Family Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Patient Access Advocate to join our team. As a Patient Access Advocate, you will play a crucial role in connecting uninsured individuals to affordable healthcare options. Your primary responsibilities will include providing education about health care coverage options through one-on-one interactions and outreach events, assisting with the application and enrollment process for State and Federal insurance affordability programs, and helping patients enroll in our sliding fee scales and external medication assistance programs.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about removing financial barriers to healthcare. If you have strong organizational skills, fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish or another language spoken by a majority of our patient population, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, we encourage you to apply. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop extensive knowledge of health care and social service resources available in the community and provide information on the importance of primary and preventive care during one-on-one interactions and at community outreach events throughout the state. We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, a 401(k) retirement plan with a match, and supplemental insurances.
