Overview:

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is excited to announce an opening for a Water Resources Engineering Specialist. This role offers a unique chance to engage in a range of challenging and intricate projects aimed at enhancing community infrastructure across the Upper Midwest and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed engineering calculations and analyses.
  • Develop preliminary layouts, models, and designs for water resources initiatives.
  • Research and draft initial reports and feasibility assessments.
  • Support project design efforts and prepare comprehensive plans and specifications, including cost and quantity estimates.
  • Assist in plan evaluations, stormwater pollution prevention strategies, and the design of stormwater management systems.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on water resources.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in water resources design and construction.
  • A current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
  • Experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
