As a key member of our cardiovascular surgeon team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and complete detailed patient assessments to identify actual or potential health problems or needs.
- Order laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other routine diagnostic procedures as necessary.
- Diagnose health problems or needs and plan therapeutic interventions based on analysis of collected data.
- Order and initiate appropriate medication, treatment, and consultation based on analysis of collected data.
- Perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, venous and arterial blood draws, and managing simple conditions produced by infection, trauma, or other disease processes.
- Educate patients regarding prescribed treatment and medication(s).
Requirements:
- Master's degree or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Preference for RNFA certification.
