Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at ProKatchers LLC. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare institution.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines. This will include preparing patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians, and communicating with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure review to confirm that all required elements are completed and documented.
  • Transfer images and data to the appropriate archival systems and enter technical data/findings.
  • Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting of equipment.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and promote continuous improvements in care and treatments.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty.
  • ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification or successful completion of Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire date.
  • Current BLS certification.
