Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler 2 to join our team in Irwindale, CA. As a key member of our Shipping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify order accuracy and ensure proper storage and rotation of products.
  • Rotate product by date in the storage cooler and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Transfer materials to the production room and ensure production lines have all necessary materials.
  • Unload product in a timely manner and verify paperwork and system transactions are accurate.
  • Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature.
Requirements
  • 2 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
  • Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment.
Working Conditions

This position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regular work near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to extreme cold for extended periods. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
