Job Title: Senior Material Handler

PacBio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Material Handler to join our team in Menlo Park, CA. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming materials, securely storing materials, and issuing materials to work orders and other uses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming materials, ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions in the ERP system.
  • Securely store materials in a safe and organized manner, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Issue materials to work orders and other uses, ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve warehouse processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in receiving, stockroom, material handling, and inventory analysis roles.
  • Experience in a life science environment, including shipping cold chain temperature-sensitive materials and shipping dangerous goods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
