Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist II or III to join our team in Anacortes, Island County. This is a full-time position available immediately, with opportunities to provide services in Oak Harbor as well.
Job Summary:The Mental Health Therapist II or III will provide assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management, individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans. The successful candidate will also lead groups and work with children and youth.
Qualifications:- Master's degree in psychology or social work from an accredited college or university, with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- Meet WAC requirements for the designation of MH Professional, be licensed, and have an associate's license.
- Experience with mental health evaluation of children and evidence-based models of treatment is a plus.
- Ability to work with children and youth, with experience a plus.
- Proficiency in computers, Microsoft Office, and other software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
