Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, your duties will include:

  • Ensuring adherence to regulations set forth by the Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Shines, and State Licensing.
  • Demonstrating respect and sensitivity towards the cultural diversities present within the center.
  • Implementing a well-rounded early childhood education curriculum that addresses various developmental domains.
  • Conducting regular assessments and developmental evaluations for children.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design age-appropriate learning environments.
  • Facilitating effective communication within the organization.
  • Assuming a professional leadership role.
  • Overseeing daily routines and hygiene practices for children.
  • Planning and executing activities that are developmentally appropriate.
  • Supporting the integration of arts and physical education into the curriculum.
  • Assisting in the onboarding process for new staff and children.
  • Providing transportation assistance as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children.
  • A valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain a Colorado Driver's License.
  • Physical fitness to fulfill job requirements.
