Key Responsibilities:
- Process tax returns through the E-file system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage client returns, including scanning tax documentation and filing.
- Oversee tax workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
- E-file tax returns and extensions, monitoring acceptances and resolving issues.
- Provide administrative support to staff and partners, ensuring seamless operations.
- Manage tax due dates, delivering tax deliverables on time.
- Assist with report processing and other administrative functions.
- Collaborate with partners to resolve filing rejections or errors.
Requirements:
- Close attention to detail, with the ability to verify numerical accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle multiple deadlines.
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills.
- Problem-solving and resolution ability.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in a CPA firm is highly desirable.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
