Your Role:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing factory efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction by developing and implementing innovative manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout, and product design. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train team members, potentially overseeing direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute training initiatives of moderate complexity to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Utilize SAP and CAD systems effectively.
  • Identify and justify moderate complexity capital investments.
  • Research, acquire, and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Identify, recommend, and validate design and process modifications to enhance manufacturability, collaborating with product design engineering.
  • Implement improvements in material usage, departmental layout, and machinery efficiency.
  • Analyze data to provide insights that influence key management decisions regarding budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
  • Lead and support safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives, with an expectation to achieve internal Lean Leader certification.
  • Mentor and train team members, with potential indirect supervision or direct reports.
  • Manage moderately complex team projects involving cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless integration across manufacturing, sales, finance, marketing, and product engineering.
  • Support production and manufacturing efforts to enhance quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency, leading to improved customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.
  • Minimal travel is anticipated for this position.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Associate Degree (2 Year) or Bachelor's Degree (4 Year).
