Job Overview

As a Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you will play a vital role in creating personalized experiences for every client. You will be part of a team that values your unique skills and passion for beauty. Your primary responsibility will be to help clients discover the power of beauty by understanding their needs and recommending products that help them look and feel their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Beauty Consultations: Use your knowledge of beauty trends and products to provide personalized consultations to clients.
  • Demonstrate Product Application Techniques: Showcase your expertise in makeup techniques and skincare routines to clients.
  • Stay Current with Beauty Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and new products at Sephora.
  • Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients.
  • Participate in Sales and Promotional Events: Be part of exciting sales events and promotions.
  • BOPIS and Client Service: Provide excellent client service when clients arrive to pick up their orders.
  • Maintain Store Environment: Help maintain a clean, well-stocked, and smoothly operating store.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior equivalent work experience, preferably in retail.
  • Passion for client service and beauty.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Resilience and ability to react to situations in the moment.
  • Flexible availability to work during peak retail hours.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Competitive Hourly Rate: $25.54/hr. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, including qualifications for the position and relevant experience.
Flexibility: Sephora now offers a Flex (on demand) position for employees who can work anywhere from 0-19 hours a week. This flexibility allows you to balance your work schedule with other commitments.
