Electronics Assembler Job Summary

L3Harris is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assembly and wiring operations at various levels of assemblies, working from engineering drawings, schematics and/or wiring diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Assembly Instructions, drawings, blueprints and/or schematics to perform bench builds of various wire assemblies.
  • Utilize various type cables, harnesses, printed circuit cards (PTH & SMT) and chassis wiring.
  • Perform a variety of functions including clamping, checking clearances, crimping, wire dressing, soldering and mechanical assembly of components.
  • Maintain appropriate production records.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of prior Electronic assembly experience preferably in the aerospace, defense, or medical industry.
  • 2 years post-secondary/associate's degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of prior Electronic assembly experience preferably in the aerospace, defense, or medical industry.
  • One (1) or more years of familiarity with solder processes and Resistor (IPC) color code.
  • Must be able to obtain a IPC 620 and J Standard Certificate.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
