Job Summary

The Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Fabrication Business Unit is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to support our team with a primary focus on plastics manufacturing. This role will involve working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where safety and quality are of utmost importance.

Key Responsibilities

- Possess a strong understanding of fabrication equipment and processes
- Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and processes
- Provide engineering support for various fabrication processes, including plastics, stamping, turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, surface finishing, and grinding
- Work with outside contractors to coordinate equipment repair, upgrade, or installation
- Initiate, develop, and implement cost reduction projects to assist the manufacturing plant in achieving operational KPI goals

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to establish, prioritize, and organize responsibilities
- Ability to think outside the box to generate new improvement ideas
