Role Summary

The Director of the Abbie DeLoach Foundation serves as a vital link between the foundation and the communities it serves, ensuring alignment with its mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Part-time position with flexible scheduling
  • Knowledge of the foundation's mission and pillars (nursing, service, and athletics)
  • Represent the foundation in the community and with partner organizations
  • Coordinate annual scholarship selection and planning
  • Execute successful Annual Scholarship Luncheon
  • Collaborate with the Director of Social Media to increase visibility, promote philanthropy, and connect with relevant groups
  • Maintain and update the foundation's academic calendar timeline and website content
  • Manage the planning of the True Blue 5K/Abbie's Adventure Race and Hands-Free for Abbie Campaign
  • Conduct weekly meetings with leadership and maintain daily communication
Qualifications
  • Deep commitment to the foundation's mission
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Google Drive
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership abilities
  • Able to work part-time with flexibility and prioritize multiple projects
About the Abbie DeLoach Foundation

The Abbie DeLoach Foundation was established by Jimmy DeLoach in memory of his daughter, Abbie, who lost her life in a tragic highway crash in 2015. The foundation's mission is to continue Abbie's legacy of selfless service, generosity, academic and athletic achievement, and compassion for all. To date, the foundation has awarded 127 individuals over $1.47 million in scholarships and invested $90,000 in stopping the exploitation of women. The foundation's goal is to make a positive impact and inspire others to do the same.
