We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Procedural Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for office-based procedures, adhering to practice protocols and hospital policies.
- Ensure all equipment is present and in optimal operating condition, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Anticipate patient and clinician needs to facilitate smooth and timely procedure flow.
- Maintain sterility at all times, recognizing and resolving any breaks in the sterile field.
- Completion of a certification program as a Medical Assistant.
- One to five years' experience as a Medical Assistant or comparable experience.
- Demonstrated ability in performance of office-based procedures, such as hysteroscopy and colposcopy.
- Experience working in an ambulatory clinical setting with high procedure volume.
- Experience with Epic, preferred.
