About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RV Maintenance Technician to join our team at Blue Compass RV Charleston. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work on RV units to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, automotive, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing issues on RV units.
  • Document all diagnostic tests, repairs, and replacements in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Provide labor time estimates to service advisors and plan workdays for maximum efficiency.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of trade fields such as automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance.
  • Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field or equivalent work experience.
  • RVTI certification is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year maintenance or mechanical experience is preferred.
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
