Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled individual to train as a narrow flexo label press operator with up to 10 colors. The Press Operator is responsible for maintaining safety, production efficiency, and quality standards while collaborating with other departments to achieve company objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Alert supervisors to any safety concerns.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Set up press according to job ticket and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Operate press efficiently to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout production.
  • Complete all necessary procedures and documentation accurately.
  • Conduct press make-readies and equipment maintenance.
  • Input information into the ERP system promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, Trade School, or GED.
  • 2+ years experience as a printing press operator on narrow webs or equivalent.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and problem-solve effectively.
  • Knowledge of production materials and quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and computer skills required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
