BRIA is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve resident outcomes
- Collaborate with doctors, residents, and family members to ensure seamless communication
- Manage department budgets and resources to optimize efficiency
- Implement new procedures and train staff on policies and protocols
- 2+ years of experience as a DON or ADON in long term care
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
